What we do

At Youth of Purpose, we believe every child and young person carries a God-given potential that deserves to shine. Our work is centered on restoring hope, nurturing purpose, and building opportunities for children and youth in Uganda.

We run Purpose Children’s Home, providing a safe, loving environment for orphaned, abandoned, and vulnerable children. Beyond shelter, we ensure access to education, healthcare, and emotional support.

We support children in school and create opportunities for young people to learn practical skills—empowering them to break cycles of poverty and build sustainable futures.

✨ The Newborn Project

Through our growing Newborn Project, we are expanding capacity to care for more children—moving from 30 to 100—by building a home filled with hope, joy, and opportunity.

About us

Youth of Purpose is a faith-driven organization in Uganda dedicated to transforming lives by giving vulnerable children and young people a chance to dream again. Born out of love and compassion, we exist to create a safe space where children can grow, learn, and discover their God-given purpose

Through our work at Purpose Children’s Home, we provide care, education, and guidance for orphans and children at risk. Beyond meeting immediate needs like shelter, food, and healthcare, we focus on nurturing character, building resilience, and preparing children for a brighter future.

Our vision extends to empowering youth with education and life skills, equipping them to become leaders, change-makers, and responsible members of society. Rooted in Christian values, we believe in restoring hope, cultivating purpose, and building strong communities that protect and uplift their children.

The ongoing Newborn Project reflects our commitment to growth and impact, as we expand our capacity from 30 to 100 children—ensuring more lives are touched with love, dignity, and opportunity.

🌍 Latest Campaigns

1. The Newborn Project – Building Hope

We are expanding Purpose Children’s Home from 30 to 100 children. Currently in the roofing stage, this campaign is mobilizing support for construction, furniture, and facilities that will give more children a safe place to grow, learn, and belong.

3. Feeding Smiles Initiative

No child can thrive on an empty stomach. This campaign ensures daily nutritious meals for children under our care and supports struggling families within the community.

5. Purpose through Arts & Talent

We nurture children’s gifts in music, dance, and drama—using creativity as a tool for healing, joy, and self-expression. This campaign recently brought happiness through sponsored dance events and performances.
